“Our 12 year old Boer goat, Amber, had bred reliably every year since she arrived here at Carrington View. When she came to us she was in kid, and only 40kg at under 12 months old. She started with yearly twins and then progressed to having triplets every year. The first year that she had triplets she disowned one so we raised it, but since then has fed all three with some supplement help from us. 

She was in good health & gained weight after her previous kidding at 11 years old without issue, so we decided to let her have another pregnancy. She had triplets and in true Amber form she fed two of the three kids with some supplement feeding from us. The birth and feeding took its toll on Amber; she lost weight, muscle tone and then most of her hair. She was really struggling and looking very poor.
