Orego-Stim® Liquid for Calves - Miriam Crane - VIC

I have been farming my whole life. I have been using Orego-Stim for the last two years. Before using Orego-Stim I had some Salmonella and Rotavirus challenges. I started the calves on 10 ml per day (5ml per feed) and found that it increased their appetite and sped up their recovery.

 I use 5ml per calf per day. If they have any challenges, I increase to 10ml per day. Increasing the Orego-Stim usually avoids the need for medication. When medication is required I continue to use 10ml per day of Orego-Stim, I find they maintain their appetite, which is often the biggest hurdle and also respond quickly to the treatment. I have not lost a calf since using Orego-Stim Liquid. My calves look great, and I would recommend Orego-Stim to anyone rearing calves.

How to Use

Calves (birth to weaning): An initial 10 ml/head/day added to milk for first 10 days followed by 2 ml/head/day until weaning.

Add to the daily milk allowance, ensure thorough mixing. Fresh and clean drinking water should always be available
