If there was one product I could choose for first line defence in my loft, it would be Salgard. It has proven itself to be greatly effective with fancy pigeon studs. I have used it for some years now and have found it to be extremely effective at creating that first line of defence to pathogens and overall good pigeon health. I highly recommend this to all fanciers, both racing and fancy. It keeps things on the right track, especially with insidious salmonellas and other ph sensitive contaminants. Give it a go. You will sure notice a change but more importantly, your birds will be at peak health.
I historically had a salmonella issue in my loft from vermin contaminating the food and water. I've put in place measures to secure the feed and with the addition of Salgard to the water I'm hopeful I no longer have a salmonella risk. So far so good and the birds are looking healthy.
We have been using Orego Stim for a couple of months now. 5mls in 10 litres of water was the recommended amount. It seems to keep the water fresh and it definitely has an appealing smell-taste as the goats are loving it. It is especially important for us with Bucks & Wethers that they have a good water intake. It would seem that the Orego Stim is encouraging them to drink more which is an excellent result alone, without the other health benefits. Looking forward to seeing continued health benefits.
